Starlink users in Ukraine could be targeted by Russia, Elon warns users to take these precautions

Several tips on how to stay safe with Starlink were provided by Elon Musk on Thursday. He warned Ukrainians that Russian troops could target the high-speed internet service.

Starlink users in Ukraine are advised to only activate the service when they need it and to place the antenna as far from people as possible.

A second recommendation from Musk was to cover the antenna in a light camouflage, such as painting the antenna without any metal to avoid being noticed visually.

Musk said on Twitter that the only non-Russian communications system in part of Ukraine is Starlink, noting a security warning.
