Republican Ashley Hinson has ousted Representative Abby Finkenauer (D-IA) in Iowa Congressional District 1, according to the Associated Press.
Ashley Hinson said in a statement that she is honored to be elected to the first district of Iowa.
“I am honored to be the elected congresswoman of the first district in Iowa! I will always remember in Congress that the hard-working taxpayers are the people who elected me and they are my bosses.
