Biden called DeSantis "Trump incarnate" and said he would be a tough opponent in the 2024 presidential election. DeSantis has not yet announced his candidacy, but he is widely seen as a potential candidate.

President Joe Biden said Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis would be another version of Donald Trump, as Biden support for the state’s Democrat gubernatorial nominee Charlie Crist who is facing an increasingly tight race in the polls days before the election day.

“Charlie is running against Donald Trump incarnate,” Biden said at a fundraiser for Crist’s campaign at Florida’s Golden Beach before denouncing the Republican governor, who has been an opponent of the Biden White House and seen as a potential 2024 presidential candidate.

“This guy doesn’t fit any of the categories I talked about. The way he deals, the way he denies,” Biden said, potentially referring to earlier remarks about decency and honor.

Biden spoke at a rally for Florida's Democratic candidates, including gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist and congressional candidate Val Demings. He emphasized the importance of voting in the midterm elections and encouraged the crowd to support the Democratic Party.
