Greg Abbott Demands Details from Vice President Harris on Border

Taxes Governor Greg Abbott, this week wrote a letter to Vice President Kamala Harris asking for answers to a series of questions about the situation on the southern border and urging her to visit the area.
"Now that President [Joe] Biden has named you Border Czar in charge of the administration’s response, I want to express to you the threats and challenges caused by this administration's open border policies," Abbott wrote in the letter.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Monday clarified that Harris is focused on addressing the "root causes" of illegal immigration, and "not the border," saying that "there's some confusion over that."
