Georgia Ballots Must Be Audited with Signature Verification
Rep. Jody Hice (R-GA) requested a review of the votes cast in Georgia to include signature verification of the absent ballot papers.

Jody Hice explained that verifying the signature of absentee ballot papers could make a "big" difference in Georgia. He calculated that signature verification could remove 40,000 votes from the state's total vote count given the percentage of absentee votes cast from the 2018 congressional elections in Peach State.
According to Ballotpedia, Joe Biden received 12,284 more votes than Donald Trump in Georgia. The first vote count had Biden receiving 2,475,141 votes against the president’s 2,462,857.
Jody Hice credited Stacy Abrams with the recent Georgia removal of signature verification requirements in relation to an absentee ballot.
