COVID-19 positive test for Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer

On Sunday night, Chuck Schumer's spokesman said the senator had tested positive for COVID-19 and reported experiencing very mild symptoms.

Schumer, 71, is fully vaccinated and has received two booster shots, spokesman Justin Goodman said in a statement.

Goodman said the New York Democrat will follow federal health guidelines while working remotely this week.
